Anyone with a Ronin Due south and Z7

I'm using a Z6 and Ronin S gimbal for video, simply the Z6 is not withal supported then I can't connect them together and use the focus wheel on the gimbal to rack focus. I'm considering buying the focus motor for the ronin, but I'd similar to know if anyone with the Ronin South and Z7, which is already supported, can give feedback on how well information technology works - is focus racking dainty and shine using the cable and letting the camera focus (in which case I'll wait for Z6 compatibility) or is it a chip hasty (equally I've seen on youtube with another cameras) in which case I'll desire the focus motor anyway so I may as well buy that at present.

The focus on the Z7 with Ronin-S is very sensitive. Too sensitive IMHO. So even a one/6 - 1/8th of a plow on the wheel is enough to go from one extreme to the other.
I have reported information technology to DJI - simply i'g not an expert in how focus wheels are supposed to work - but right now I would call information technology unusable.

I accept the aforementioned problem. Has anyone had success in slowing down the focus?

A question to add to this -
Can you use Nikon Z7 with the adapter and F mount lenses that are compatible? Or does the Z7 but work with Z lenses to command focus etc?

You tin can use whatever AF lens every bit far as I know, at least the Nikon F mount lenses I've tried using the FTZ piece of work. I bought the focus motor now because not sure how long they'll accept to fix the HDMI out trouble, although they said theyre working on information technology.

The Ronin S should be fully uniform with nikon Zs now, you tin pull focus just it isn't that smooth, especially with adapted lenses, and then if you desire smoothen focus pulls the motor is still ideal.
